Best line in PT?

I'm not sure it was the best line but I certainly think it had a hell of a dramatic affect.

(In RotS Anakin enters the jedi temple)

Jedi youngling: Master skywalker, there are too many of them. What are we going to do?....[lightsaber ignites]

 

This line is ESPECIALLY meaningful, after having read the Darth Bane series, with all of their secretiveness, and their aspirations of one day revealing themselves-even then: over 1000 years before!

 

The exchange during the immolation scene has been touched on already and is so fantastic. Many of my fav's have been emtioned already.


Palpatine: "We will watch your career with great interest."
GREAT set-up, and wink to those in the know in 1999.


Padme: "That is why we must not fail to get the Viceroy."
I love Natalie's delivery; She's basically saying, "Well, duh..."


Obi: "Chancellor Palpatine, Sith lords are our speciality." Follwed by this exchange:
"We'll take him together this time."
"I was going to say that."
Great establishment of the new dimension of Ani and Obi's working relationship/friendship since we last saw them. Also, along those same lines from earlier in ROTS:
"No loose wire jokes."
"Did I say anything?"
"He's trying."
"I didn't say anything!"
That always makes me laugh.


Okay, maybe SW, and the PT gets a lot of flak for the dialogue, but there is so much that's SO good!

 

Anakin: The Sith rely on their passion for their strength. They think inward, only about themselves.
Palpatine: And the Jedi don't?

McDiarmid's delivery of that line is just perfect, and it also brings up one of the major philosophical issues of the saga.

 

Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?

 

"Another happy landing!"

I love the way Obi-Wan/Ewan says it after landing half of a spaceship

"We lost something"
"Not to worry, we are still flying half a ship!"

Threepio's head getting pulled along behind R2-"Now where are you taking me? Oh this is such a drag!"

R2-D2 brings Threepio's head next to his body-"I am quite beside myself!"

Two golds/classics of the many awesome lines on AOTC.

Anakin just before he jumps out of a speeder-"If you'll excuse me"
Obi leaning over and watching Anakin fall-"I hate it when he does that!"
