Best line in the OT

I always like "Oh, I am afraid this station is quite operational" (paraphrasing) just because the emperor said it like such an ***hole.

 

"I sense something. A presence I've not felt since..."

 

"Sorry about the mess." -- So understated. There's a dead guy in the cantina.
"Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope." -- She starts the adventure
"Governor Tarkin, I should have expected to find you holding Vader's leash. I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board. " -- But she's spunky too.
"Who's the more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him? " -- Obi-Wan had a chance to grow a sense of humor while in his exile.

Those are my picks from Star Wars (I never could get used to calling it A New Hope). Since it was supposed to be just one best, I guess I should probably quit while I only have four.

Really, any time Leia or Han verbally dish out anything against someone (each other in particular), I can feel the awesome.

 

Han - "Absolutely your worshipfullness"


Luke - I don't...I don't believe it.
Yoda - That is why you fail.

 

"Back door, huh? Good idea."

 

"who's scruffy looking?"

One I haven't seen mentioned yet:

I admit I get a little misty there.

 

Definitely a person who follow a fool one.

One of my favourites at the moment -- consistently underrated, too:

(I turn the subtitles off for some reason.)

Also, the last shot of Tarkin is absent from Adywan's edit of A New Hope for some reason.
