I've always wondered what Obi-Wan was talking about.

My favorite of the PT may be the very simple "Yes Master". The first new words uttered in JEJ's Vader voice in 22 years. I'd been waiting three movies for that moment.

Of course, they were in the first trailer too. Still, completely awesome.

My Favorite line has to be: The Darkside of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some consider to be unatural. The way palpatine says that is brilliant. Of course the Not from a Jediis also brilliant.

And Yoda At an end your rule is, and not short enough it was is cool.

ROTS produced the best lines for me. But the other two films have their moments

"This is my Apprentice... Darth, Maul. He will find your lost ship."

"You have been well trained, my young Apprentice. They will be no match for you."

"Wipe them out... ahhhhhl of them."

    Sidious totally pwned TPM.

Just about anything said by Christopher Lee. Just caught AOTC on HBO and he's the man.

Comedy option: "You are in my very soul torturing me".

Padme= Your going to kill him aren't you?

Obiwan= He has become a very great threat.

    I also loved this line:

"If so powerful you are, why leave?", Yoda to Sidious in ROTS

I will do what I must - Obi wan

Shows that he was a great man.

Obi-wan was truly a great Jedi. Not the greatest fighter of all time, but a great man.

And hey - he beat a Sith Lord and a foolish/stupid/whiny/self centered little boy.

    What is not to like?

He was great at what he did.

His only fault was not ending Anakin, but nobody is perfect. If I delimbed somebody and set him on fire, I would probably forgive myself for assuming that he was going to die through blood loss and general physical trauma.

"Around the survivors, a perimeter, create."-The epitome of Yoda's backwards grammer, but also great because it's when we first see Yoda in a battlefield situation.

I would also like to defend one of my favorite lines that a lot of people harp on: "I wish I could just...wish away my feelings, but I can't." The repetition of the word "wish", while some think an error on George's part, I feel, effectively shows just how mixed up Anakin was at this point. It shows how people in love don't think rationally about things. Anakin even admits that he can't be rational about it right before this line. Besides, how many people have said things like this when their emotions get the better of them?

Great stuff, and there are so many!! I will still argue till I'm blue in the face that the PT are very well-written films.

One more for good measure: "You are under arrest, my Lord."=D=

Obi Wan is a hoot at the start of ROTS. I especially love his, "In the name of...!" as Anakin shoots off his wing. Oops! Great stuff.

And, since the guy was mentioned a little further up...

    I love a lot of Dooku's lines:

    "Patience, Viceroy, she will die..."

"It may be difficult to secure your release..."

"Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem. Surely, you can do better!"

"You have interfered with our plans for the last time, Master Yoda!"

"I've become more powerful than any Jedi ... even you!"

"Your swords, please. We don't want to make a mess of things in front of the Chancellor."

"Twice the pride, double the fall!"

A lot of it rests in Lee's delivery, of course. But there's something bigger going on, too. Did Saruman have many memorable lines in LOTR? Lucas' dialogue has a pleasing cadence and depth that escape your conscious intellect and burrow deeper. He really can write some cracking stuff.

I would say Saruman had one of the most memorable lines in all of Cinema.

    "I gave you the chance...of aiding me...willingly, but you...have elected...the way of...PAIN!"

THAT is great! Absolutely. I LOVE that moment. But Dooku has a string of good/great ones.

One of my favorites of Dooku's was "I've been looking forward to this." in ROTS. It just perfectly captured that feeling of anticipation that I had watching this film, and it was at that moment that I realized everyone in the film had been upgraded to Badass status. Christopher Lee is great and I think he delivers some of the best non-verbal communication in the films, as well, right before Dooku loses his head! It still kills me every time...

"At last the Jedi are no more". -Sids
"NOT if anything to say about it... I HAVE!"
    -Yoda
Then Sidious gets thrown across the room! Gotta love it!

    Nice answer!

I felt like a little kid at that moment in the cinema. Brilliant!

    Truly, a great moment.

But I actually found Yoda's later line even more emotional for some reason: "Faith in your new apprentice, misplaced, may be, as is your faith in the Dark Side of the Force." Yoda was really bringing it at that moment. It felt very satisfying for him to be taking on the might of the Dark Side.

    TPM

Yoda: Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

    AOTC

Jango Fett: I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe.

    ROTS

Darth Sidious: I am sending you my apprentice, Darth Vader. He will...take care of you.

This has been mentioned a lot of times, but I really thought Padme's line was deep:

"So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause."

I was like...man, hope this never happens to America.

For me, the most emotional one (that got me to tears) was when Obi-wan cried "You were the Chosen One! etc etc"

    It was really good acting.

Ah...but if you've watched as many tv shows and movies as me where someone left for dead stand up again or dissappears....by that time I would be so paranoid that i would chop off his head for good measure.

    Sorry I forgot...

ANAKIN: All right. But you owe me . . . and not for saving your skin for the tenth time . . .
OBI-WAN: Ninth time . . . that business on Cato Nemoidia doesn't, doesn't count. I'll see you at the briefing.
