I think this one has only been said once. It deserves more recognition.

Thats when he is forever changed from Palpatine to Sidious for me.

possibly the best quote of the saga imo, and of all the romantic jedi mumbo jumo we get to hear(i love Yoda as much as the rest of you)it is the most truthful in universal application...it applies to jedi/sith and even Obi-wans fry cook buddy on courusant =D

 

One of my favorites also. When attempting to explain it to someone I'll ask them, "Does a fish feel wet?"

Most likely the fish feels "normal" b/c that's his reality.

Best lines ever. It was amazing to finally hear the true masters of both sides duke it out, not only with their power, but with the words.

The bolded one is by far my favorite. That line really showed how above they were from all others, even one such as Anakin.

 

I don't know why but this is my favorite quote from the prequels,

"Master Windu you fought gallantly worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi order".

 

best line i have heard in the PT was from the clone wars cartoon, not sure exactly word for word but i will wing it........

Count Dooku to Grievous while training him:

"you are too concerned with trinkets....if you are to defeat the best of the jedi you must have fear, suprise, and intimidation on your side, for if any of those 3 elements is lacking i suggest you retreat". "you must defeat them before you engage them....only then will you secure victory....and your trophy"

something like that, watching that scene put Dooku rite below Sidious on my list of whose who in the star wars saga. i dont think anyone gives a better piece of advice in the entire saga...and think about how hard Grievous rocked, he killed mad jedi, they were affraid of him to be sure, and he wasnt sensitive to the Force at all. that is a testimony to Dooku's cool factor in my book. also why Grievous was so prone to retreat as mentioned in ROTS. notice he says "the best" of the jedi....he trained him so good that if he came across some chump jedi he should just kill them.

 

That was in Clone Wars, but it was good Dooku line though.

 

Thank God someone quoted the ultimate Prequel line.

The ultimate PT line. Meaningless, pointless, overacted and silly.

That's your opinion, and it's respected. However, this line, in my opinion holds much meaning. Sidious is going full out to fully tempt Anakin. That's the point of 'over acting' it. He's going to great lengths to get the Chosen One to believe he can attain 'unlimited power' through the Dark Side of the force.

 

'Unlimited power' was cool, but for me it's the simple line by Obi-Wan in the arena that gets me everytime. As he is chained to the pole and any hopes dashed of being saved when Anakin and Padme arrive also chained, Anakin tries to talk himself out of it by saying how they were about to rescue him. Obi-Wan looking up and saying 'good job' is fantastic.

 

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that one. It positively drips with sarcasm.

 

Obi-Wan had some of the best lines. The 'good job' one cracks me up every time. That and the line he says going into the bar in AOTC "Why do I think you're going to be the death of me" or at least something close to that.

As I've mentioned before, the best line was Vader's on Mustafar:

"This is the end for you my Master..."

But my favorite line is when Sidious sits down:

"Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy, and, we shall have... peeeeeeeace."
OT Kenobi told a few whoppers, but nothing compares to Sidious' bold faced lie.

In fact I think this scene is the best and most natural and realistic Padme & Anakin scene in the entire PT.
