FF:QLD Best Night for a Quasi-Bar Wars

As the title suggests, which night suits most of you for a get-together and a few drinks while I'm back in Brissie?

 

Friday suits me.

 

I should be good for any day, though Friday or Saturday preferably so I don't have to get up too early the next day.

 

Either day is good, but I picked Friday, just 'cause.

 

Well Saturday night is actually better for me to be able to attend.

 

Finances not withstanding Friday would be best.

 

Friday it is then... No I just have to decide where we can all meet.

So... Gilhooleys then? It seems to be tradition, plus we can get a feed in before the main event.

 

Food before alcohol would generally be considered a good thing...

 

Gilhooleys sounds good - give me a time and I'll be there.

 

Would love to come unfortunately doubt I could get off work on that day. Roster work sucks.

As for time, well, I won't be working that day so I figured I'd turn that over to the fully gainfully employed and ewes can decide whether you want to come from work or go home, tizzy up and come back in. Although I understand that lozz and morgs live a ways a way from the CBD, so that might make things a bit late.

As I said - up to ewes.

I'm good for anything from 4pm til 8. If it's later I'll have eaten by then .

 

Meh, I finish up at 4pm on Friday, they don't pay me enough to work any further into my weekend.

IF I went home I could be back in by 7pm barring fireworks and football games.

 

Now this will be in 3 threads so I hope no one misses it;

Friday 21st: Gilhooley's in the city, around 7:30pm - 8pm but I'm sure I'll be floating around from about 7pm if anyone gets there early.

 

I think I'll hop around for 1.5 hours or so

 

Neech.. unfortunately, I will be working this Friday night.. and much to my sadness, I cannot get anyone to swap shifts with me. Have fun anyway mate... hope to catch up with ya at some time during this trip. Perhaps Sunday? In any case, say hi to Mrs Neech.

At this stage I'm not planning on heading home after work... If I don't go to happy hour there's plenty I can do in the office. Anyone likely to get into town early let me know.

 

I'm sick of committing to things early and pulling out at the last minute. In the spirit of balance, I've waited until the final hour to say yes, I'll be there.
