Best pilot in Star Wars films?

This may have been done before, but here we go

Han Solo
Anakin/Vader
Luke
Wedge
Obi-Wan
Lando

For my money, I'd say it's a tie between Han and Anakin. Han's abilities, especially in ESB, are astounding...probably as good as humanly possible without the Force.

Anakin may one-up him with his precognitive abilities and enhanced reflexes, though. Maybe we'll see something in Ep. 3 from Anakin that will push him over the top.

And for Anakin we haven't actually seen him flying anything serious, xcept that pod racer and a car.

 

How can you leave out Chewbacca? He's better than ObiWan and Lando anyway.

 

I think Anakin, hands down.


Edit: the only one would could compare (because of the Force alone) would be Luke. Anakin, however, spent much more time practicing racing, flying, etc., than Luke ever did.

 

I think the asteroid scene in AOTC is proof that Obi-Wan is the greatest pilot in the history of Star Wars. Who da thunk it? mmmmmm... plot holes

Does that mean we will see Anakin fly a Jedi Starfighter in the next movie?

However, Han is the best without force help.

 

But where would Han be without his Wookie?

i think there should be a distinction between jedi and nonjedi. because the jedi have an unfair advantage.

for Jedi: Anakin, even though i have that crying fool

I wouldhave to say Wedge.

 

The amount of support for Wedge is impressive so far...well, he DID survive two Death Star assaults and the Hoth battle; even Luke got shot down at Hoth, and his landing at Dagobah wasn't exactly top-drawer

And I WAS impressed by Obi's piloting in Ep 2! "Good job!"

I think it likely we'll get to see Anakin piloting a fighter at least in the beginning of EP 3, though he did quite well even at 10 in the Naboo battle. Piloting back OUT of that Federation ship as it's exploding couldn't have been TOO simple, either!

 

I'd have to say Luke, since we've never seen Anakin fly anything besides a Naboo fighter, and he didn't even know how to use the controls...he did what he did by pure luck - not even the Force.

I do hope though that they show us Anakin being the "best fighter pilot in the galaxy" that Obi-Wan claims he is...
