I would have thought that Buffy and Angel would have been the run away winner of this poll. Once you started watching the show, you get hooked. My wife and I own the entire collection on DVD.

The Star Trek franchise is by far my favorite, particularly The Next Generation. It's somewhat amazing, actually, that TNG and DS9 not only maintained a very high quality for seven seasons each, but actually (in my opinion) improved over the course of their runs. Very few shows do that. I would say that Voyager's first few seasons maintained this quality, but around the fourth or fifth it started to decline.

I couldn't choose between the Stargates, Doctor Who and B5. I went for B5 as it had less.

Now that Battlestar Galactica is up and going, I have to vote for it. Good actors, good characterisation and good plots?? It's a miracle to see all of those in a sci fi series, but Battlestar has 'em. (As does Stargate, but at the moment I'm more into Battlestar.)

I've been a Trekker for longer than I've been a SW fan (by about a year), so I'd have to go with Star Trek: Voyager.

Farscape is the only possible choice for me. It's the show that restored my faith in SF TV.

Very hard decision. I went with Buffy, because it was the only show I followed all the way through. Star Trek and Stargate are also great.

It's a toss-up between "Two and a Half Men" and "The West Wing" - for obvious reasons.

Just kidding. Actually, I'm not, but to answer the question, my favorite series is "Doctor Who."
