    I don't think the restaurant exists anymore.

    Bit of background: one of the neighborhoods in the Des Moines area is known as Beaverdale. Lots of arts and crafts and craftsman style bungalow houses and whatnot, but also home to a lot of mom and pop businesses which have been around for decades. Most of these businesses are called "Beaverdale (Insert type of store here - hardware, drugs, etc)" and some folks just call the place "Beaver", hence the sign below which is for a lawnmower sales/service place just to the east of the Merle Hay Road/Douglas Ave intersection in Des Moines, Iowa.
