If you have Xbox Live, go for Battlefront 2, if not get both KOTORS

Or you can get both Halos

    KOTOR. Hands down.

But if you're looking for a quick action fix, and decent multiplayer get Battlefront 2.

Here's my list of the ones I've played, in order from best to worst.

    Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
    Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
    Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Star Wars: Starfighter or Jedi Starfighter (A tie since they are basically the same game.)
Star Wars: Battlefront (this would be higher if I liked multiplayer focused games.)

Don't limit yourself to SWs games through. Go get both Halo games and Half-Life II (unless you've played the PC version).

I have BF2 for PS2 and mastered it a long time ago. I was thinking Republic Commando. How good is that?

Republic Commando is good, but bottom line is you have to go with the KOTOR series above all. Unless you are just interested in shooting things. Then get yourself a 386 desktop computer, install DOS, and play Tie Fighter.

On Xbox, all my games are Star Wars games except Secret Weapons Over Normandy (which may as well be SW related), and the two Godzilla games.
But I don't have ALL of the SW Xbox games. I don't have KOTOR 2, JO, JA or ObiWan.
I got RC from bro for Xmas and KOTOR from my wife.
Couldn't put RC down, it's so fun. Unfortunately, I beat it in a couple of days (I had all last week off) and there really isn't any replayability to it.
KOTOR is growing on me, but it's very complicated, and I'm not sure I like that. All this upgrading of every little detail to multiple characters and then being encouraged to listen to character's dumb feelings and such doesn't really appeal to me. But I'll keep on it.
Battlefront 1 and 2 are diffenately some of my fav's. So was LegoSW.

I went to Walmart (the only place that sells games in this Amish town) and bought KOTOR 1 and Need for Speeed 2, each 20 bucks. Those were the only cheap games I was interested in. RC was $50! KOTOR 2 was at thirty, and I wanted to spend forty. Thanks for all your help!

Republic Commando is cool. I actually prefer KOTOR II to the first one. (Better characters)

Well I am partial to Battlefront I and II but the only play that everyone is hyping over is a lie IMO, it starts to lag after 8 people.
    KotOR is great too

Republic Commando was cool, but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short. I'd have to say Jedi Outcast is among the best, and of course KotOR I. Battelfront II is good, too, if you have X-Box Live and like to play that with friends. Stay away from The Clone Wars game. This is basically a Star Wars version of Twisted Metal (not as bad as Demolition, though) and is not even worth 20 bucks.

I personally like KOTORI and II. Republic Commando was good as well as Battlefront II. Hey, Clone Wars wasn't that bad.

Yeah but it wasn't that good either. It was decent. I'd pay 9 bucks for it, tops. LEGO Star Wars was fun, but for a serious gamer, it's no challenge. I remember I beat it to 100% in a day and a half. The multiplayer was good for awhile though.
