Best Star Wars movie trailer

Kind of an odd discussion I know, but some of the Star Wars films have had awesome trailers. When you go to some random movie and see one, the excitement starts to reach a boiling point - "Yes, a new Star Wars movie!" While there won't be able more feature films, the new Clone Wars trailer got me excited over a show I normally wouldn't be interested in, and we have a whole collection of Star Wars trailers to look at. So the question is, which one is your favorite?

1) Out of all the Star Wars trailers, one of the trailers for The Empire Strikes Back has to be the coolest. I love Harrison Ford's cheesy narration in this one - it really does kind of feel like a 1930's serial. This trailer just screams "Star Wars" and "fun".

2) My other favorite trailer is the teaser trailer for Revenge of the Sith - the "Force theme", the classic title card, Old Ben's narration and the clips from episode IV brought me back to my childhood, and sent shivers down my spine. Darth Vader's breathing, Vader on the table, and the dialogue between Vader and the Emperor too sent shivers down my spine, and made me really freaking excited about the movie. Not to mention there were some pretty neat clips, too. A really amazing trailer if you ask me.

The AOTC "Breathing" trailer is probably my second favorite movie trailer of all time, next to the TESB "Concept Art" trailer from 1979. That was just awesome. I wish they had done something like that for TPM.

 

TPM Teaser trailer is the best trailer ever, for any movie.

 

i think the tralers of the SE of the OT are the best as specialy the ROTJ one,that was great.

"Breathing" was plain awesome when it came out, though I still think that TPM's "One Love" tone poem really captures the power and the emotion of Shmi and Anakin's separation better than the film itself.

And, of course, the initial TPM trailer. Again with the "better than the film" thing.

 

I think the TPM teaser trailer and theatrical trailers were the best.

 

RotS is easily my favorite

 

I would have to go with the "Clone Wars" trailer for AOTC. That one just felt epic.

I do love the SE trailer, though. When that X-Wing flew out of the TV, I grinned pretty freakin' widely.

Yeah, I love those. They're well done.

 

The Revenge Of The Sith trailer was the best one. The quick images of Sidious with a red lightsaber made me think 'Finally we're getting to see Sidious do something!'

Btw. of the PT trailers I think ROTS is the best.

 

All star wars movies had really excellent trailers and teasers (can only speak for the PT, I was not really around during the OT).

My favorite is probably RotS' teaser because it seems very epic and is like a mini-movie itself. TPM is the most memorable teaser of all time though, I still remember the first time I saw it. Flawless.

 

Nope, because when the SE release was happening the films were known in pop culture as 'Star Wars', 'The Empire Strikes Back', and 'Return of the Jedi.' Lucasfilm also hadn't really adopted the stance that they were just three parts of a larger saga yet.

 

TPM teaser & theatrical by a million miles. Nothing can compare to the impact they had..& yes, in many respects they were better that the actual film (i do love TPM tho!)

 

The one destiny trailer it was narrated by quigon jinn..so good ive kept it as my signature

 

My personal favorite is the ROTS teaser trailer. On the OT dvd's I noticed that in the ANH trailers and teasers there was a spot called " Forbidden Love" featuring Luke and Leia. For anyone who knows their actual relationship it is both funny and disturbing.

 

One trailer that was nifty, but I can't seem to find is the one that came on the 1990's release of the O-OT. You know, the ones with the George Lucas interviews in the beginning. I'm a little sad that I got rid of those VHS copies for the DVDs...

It's the one of the entire trilogy, and it said something like "For those who remember, for those who never forget... and for an entire new generation to experience for the very first time..."
