    I agree. A New Hope started it all...empire strikes back is the best story but Return of the Jedi has everything. Including Ewoks....Ewoks Rock!

    A new Hope...all the way. SW episode 4 was the first...it had yet to be corrupted by commercialism, it was ground breaking in both special effects and genre, and has the dry sense of humor that none of the others, save Empire Strikes Back has.

    The old trilogy was of better quality all around with the exception of todays special effects. But I voted for AOTC for two reasons, more Bounty Hunter and more Natalie Portman. ;)

    I agree with Crooks....While Ep:4 started it all, I think that Empire is a much stronger movie. It has a lot of that dry humor, and all the characters are equally well rounded.....plus YODA appears...what more could you want?

    ugg, Ewoks. A word that evokes fear in even the bravest amongst us.
    GL was definately on something at the time. I for one can see a bad acid trip involving a Shih'Tzu or a Lasoapso dog. hmmmm? I wonder if he owns one?
