I'm working on a website to serialize the chapters from a series of novellas that I wrote in a original universe that i Created a few years back-- and shopped around with zero luck (oh well).

I was was wondering how this sounds for handling chapters: I know I hate to read long segments/chatpers of stories online, so I was thinking about breaking the chapters done into the three or four smaller pieces-- right at a scene/local transistion-- so people can bookmark and read them in small doses instead of having to read 30 to 40 pages of text in one sitting on losing their place when the log off or leave the site.

Any thoughts or opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I've posted some long fan fics on my own site. Usually, I put three to four Word-pages of text on each web page, finding a natural break, then make a link to go to the next part.
