Bet Your Knowledge -- game in progress

Welcome to Bet Your Knowledge! The new game that combines the excitement of betting with the challenge of trivia.

I, Kelia, will be your host

How the game is played

*Each game will consist of 5 players

*At the start of each game, the players are awarded 100 points

*The players will bet a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 50 points on their ability to answer a trivia question in one of the following categories: Movies, Music, TV or Celebrities.

*A correct answer will increase your points. An incorrect or no answer will decrease your points.

*One answer per question, per contestant. Please PM me your answers.

*One new bet, though the amount can be the same, must be made for each new question.

*If you lose all your points, you are eliminated.

*The first person to reach 300 points will win colors for 24 hours

*No game bans for eliminated/non-winning players

*You are permitted to look up the answers on the internet, however, they will be worded in a way that won?t make it so easy

*Answers will be due within 24 hours, board time, of when the question is posted.

*If you are interested in playing, please add your name and first bet to the sign-up sheet below.

Why only five? This seams like a game that could include unlimited numbers since we would all be answering the same question.

 

I'm starting with five to see how the game goes. I'm certainly willing to entertain the possibility of more players in the future.

Shouldn't they make their bets before they know what the question is? Isn't that part of what makes betting fun?
