As much as it pains me, I have to say the Holiday Special was best. Why? Because it gave us a window directly to the dark side. We got to look evil in the face, and we were better for it afterwards. And besides, Carrie Fisher S A N G!!!

Yeah, that is something that is been a pain in my download for a while. The damn banners on this site take FOREVER to load if you aren't on a cable modem. It is something I've meant to address for some time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates waiting for the things to load.

How's about making your banners more 56K friendly?

 

Sure, I can play around with things and see what I can do. Do the rest of the FF/JC banners load ok? It could be that I'm hosting them on my Comcast account, but then again, it could also be that I hadn't bother to downgrade the images some to make them smaller.

 

I have trouble with them all, so I just get on here when I'm at work and cut out the middleman.

 

yep, they're all clunky on 56K modems. I do a lot of illegal looking while at work, too. Why not? If they didn't want me to play online, they wouldn't have hooked me up to a T1, would they??

 

Other than a plain white banner with the IK logo, I don't think I can really speed things up...I will try to balance out the image quality and image size to make the files a bit smaller. Trying to decide if I should reload the old Jedi Vs. Sith IK border or create a new one. If anyone else would like to give it a go, please do...there's no reason we can't change banners as often as we want.
