    HAve you every realized that Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) looks different from IV anf V? It was because of a car accident between filming. He got surgery and his face started looking ugly. In ESB, he was OK, maybe he was the present day Elephant Man.

    In the Star Wars Universe, the scar is described as an injury due to his scuffle with the Wampa on Hoth. ;) :)
