Big list of things to improve on in the Blu-Ray editions of the Original Trilogy

Since George is going to make new Blu-Ray editions of all 6 films, I decided to make a list of all the changes that should be made...

A New Hope

-Slightly speed up the scene with the Tantive IV and Star Destroyer so it seems more like a chase

-Replace Darth Vader's theme when he comes into the hallway with Imperial March

-Fix up the scene where R5 is with Luke and the Jawas at the same time

-Make it so one stormtrooper doesn't die the same way 3 times in a row.

-Change Blaster effects

-Fix up Lightsabers. EVERYWHERE. Fix their colors, their shape, their sounds, and take out the green flashes in the Vader vs. Ob-wan fight

-Alter the stormtrooper helmets of the stormtroopers so they actually match

-Zoom in on the left side of the stormtroopers going through the door so the head-hit thing isn't there, and remove the *pink* and "see to him"

-Stick in the Tosche station scene

-Take out the shadows of the lightsabers in Ben's Hut and the Death Star Hallway

-Make the aliens look a bit more organic-looking in their movements (and fix Kabe's see-thru head)

-Make sabers glow

The Empire Strikes Back

-Maybe show AT-ATs landing?

-Make AT-STs look more ROTJ-ish

-Fix dimorphism blooper at the end with the Lambda

-Make Vader's saber RED, not pink!

-Make sabers glow

Return of the Jedi

-Dimorphism blooper with shuttle. Replace shuttle set with ILM model shots, Fix the shuttle in Emperor's arrival matte painting

-Make Luke actually chop up Jabba's henchmen, not pass his saber through them.

-Use original Ewok song

-Fix Yoda's cross-eyedness

-Fix scene where Luke's and Vader's sabers combine in front of the Emperor

-Remove Vader's saber shadow

-Make sabers glow

-Fix major differences in Palpatine's make-up between scenes


Well, that's all I can think of. If only this could reach George... If you want to suggest an addition to the list, go ahead.
