My wife pointed out to me that some folks coming to our place on March 22nd may want to make use of the park-and-ride parking area at the HWY 93/72 intersection at the mouth of Coal Creek Canyon, and car-pool in from there. I think ObiWannabe knows the area I'm talking about, and some other RMFF members may as well.

 

Since I have a van, I can car pole a few people also. OW could probably come with me and show me the way and stuff. Although I first have to get this driver's ed done.

Do we have a planned date for the meeting?

I have purchase 6 new (or used tshirts) this past week, I am close to my 50

 

Guess I could drag my MR sabers out for show & tell.

 

My sis and niece are coming out on the 21st and bringing their roomate and her kids...if it was just my sis and niece, I'd see if they wanted to go along, but I really don't know her roommate, and I seriously doubt they'll be up for it...so I don't think I will be there after all. Take lots of pics!

 

I shall try to finish the latest SW themed walking stick by then......may have some time this weekend....

 

Okay, it's looking like I'm going to be coming back from California on the 21st. I should be in around 5 p.m., so I'll give a call and see if folks are still likely to be around for a while longer. (Yeah, like we have meetings that last less than 5 hours. )

 

You know it I will try to think of something to bring to show off.

I was thinking, we could run a practice run on our costume show, tape it for the people who won't be there, have stand ins for them so we can see what it will look like?
The Con is going to be busy, with a table & all I don't see a whole lot of time to practice, so this would be a perfect time?

 

Yes, I think that we should get together at least once to practice, and this would give us time to polish things out before con. I would also think we should take a little time on Friday night at the con just to brush up.
