All people split equally because all are equal. If an one lacks funds to pay the others should cover him. If any is forbidden by moral structures from consuming anything (e.g. Alcohol, vegetarians and meat, etc), these items are to be tabulated and paid for separately to spare any impugning or dishonor. That is all.

You're the only person I know who could overcomplicate a simple answer.

Family restaurants. If it prevents kids from running around knocking into other diners, it's good. You know what you're getting into when you go to one.

Children should not be taken out to socialize in public. They're not people.

You know people who's moral structures do not allow them to consume vegetarians. Which suggests you know people who's moral structure does allow them to consume vegetarians.

Now, while I consider many vegetarians to be deplorable, self-righteous ****s, I do not believe consuming them is the answer. So you know some terrible people, which explains why you're a terrible person.

One imagines deep fried foods, formica tabletops, and watered down drinks.

I don't think I've ever been in a situation where the restaurant doesn't just split the bill for us, most places ask how the bill should be split up before bringing it to the table.

So, that's a "no" then. It's just passive aggressive annoyance until we wish for death, like being smothered with damp sponges.

We just split each way. The only exception is drinks, which are usually split but some of my friends like to order much more expensive wine than I do, or spirits at the end of the night etc which we might call out separately.

If someone had a $25 pizza and I had a $20 pasta who would quibble over that? It all evens out in the end. Maybe if 1 person ordered lobster thermidor.

I usually split evenly because I'm lazy, but tbh that also results in me paying about $15-20 more than I normally would a lot of the time. If I order a drink and you decided to order two drinks and food and then you want to split the bill, well ****. But I bend over anyways because I'm not a terrible person, right?

I just get uptight over snobby expensive alcohol. Wine and beer is OK but if you are going to hit the $ grog be prepared to pay for it.

Most of you would not feel comfortable eating in Sweden. I've never split the bill evenly, everyone pays for what they ordered (and it's not as if it's hard to remember what you had). Of course in Swedish restaurants the full price is always on the menu and you don't have to calculate tips and tax into it. You tip if you had a good service, you are not expected to do it because the staff doesn't have a decent wage without tips.

My definition of a terrible person would be more like: someone who has a bizarre, baseless hatred against other people, whether they are vegetarians, homosexuals, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, or whatever. Your posts are always facetious anyway so no big deal, but I'm a vegan and when I see posts like these I'm going to speak up.
