Birth of a New Hope

I hope you had a good time at Disneyland for your birthday, Brandon.

Boy, was I surprised to see you and the group sitting next to the table where I was with my friend Amy, also celebrating her birthday, which actually was on Thursday. (of course, I wouldn't have been surprised if I came to visit this board more often )

At first we were amused by the large group of people that were playing with the kiddie menu/hats, then we concentrated on our own food.

I noticed Brandon, because he was facing me and I thought, "Hey, that guy looks like someone I know! Can't be him though."

But I couldn't keep from staring at him. He looked right at me and I didn't see any recognition in his face, so I thought I was wrong. I still had this nagging feeling though.......

So finally, I realized I should look at the rest of the people at the table and see if I recognized any of them (and stop staring at the cute guy I thought I recognized ) and, lo and behold, I recognized Jeff Teel. Then I knew it had to be Brandon!

He jumped up and gave me a big hug, which I always like from nice guys.

I know it's not a real big restaurant, but I think it may have more than one level. What are the odds that two groups of Star Wars Fans (even though one group only had 2 in it) would be seated next to each other. I'm glad it was, though!

Anyway, if Friday is your actual birthday, then I hope it's a good day, too.

BTW, I forgot to ask-what's up with the top on Slave Leia on those pictures, Brandon? What's that black above the top she's wearing? Looks kinda like tape.

Was her top cut a little too low and she was a bit "overexposed"? It looks wrong, somehow. Though maybe she was trying to keep a "G" rating on it.

You should have seen the Slave Leia that was at Dragon*Con. Except for just the skirt part, the whole costume was painted on. One of the Rebel Legion guys was really fascinated with her and had lots of pics of her in his photo album!

Yeah I had a fun time yesterday, and hope you had a GREAT BIRTHDAY Brandon!!! Lunch was friggin' hilarious LOL, and funny that of all places in the whole Park, Lori and her friend were having lunch at the same time, same place and sitting at the table NEXT to us...LOL!!! It was a great MIX of people, and met some new friends and prop/costume people! We'll have to do it again some time!

Yes Lori that was hilarious, I am sure you must have noticed it was me when I was about to thro the bread roll to one of the passing (Pirates of the Caribbean) bouts. LOL!

O And the girl was my ex girlfriend and when the costume was finished, well lets just say a little more was showing then Leai?s version in the movie, so I cut 2 peaces of black material and stuck them in there LOL so she wouldn?t fell self conches, hehe.

YES it was an awesome party, never have been there with such a huge group before, it was a blast and that sticker thy give you for your birthday make you like a star! I got ?happy Birthday? song to me like 8 times standing in line, because when the workers see it they have to make a big deal about it LOL! I will post again with thanks to all and pictures, I start to describe what I got then I remember I just have to get the pictures develop and I wont have to explain so much. hehe

First of all I want to say thank you (as should everyone who got in that didn?t already have a pass) to the very amazing Victoria for putting my birthday party together. I have always had great birthday parties but I have always had to plan my self. But not this year, Victoria handled everything, and I have to honestly say that is was the greatest and sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. Because her grandmother works at Disneyland she came up with this whole idea. And got 9 free tickets so that even my friends with out the year round passes could still go, that?s including my mother and her boyfriend.

First we all meet out in front of Disneyland (knowing that most of my friends would come late, I told them all to meet at 8am, knowing I wasn?t getting in there tell like 10 lol) the funny thing is non of them were hard to spot, for some reason it was unofficial black day

Anyway, sense Disneyland can some times be Nazis; we weren?t aloud to bring none of my presents nor me cake! So we found a picnic area to the right of the entrances (witch I never even new existed) and had cake. (Remember it?s about 9am and we all haven?t really even had breakfast) But all that was forgotten when I got to see my cake! The most amazing cake in the firkin world!! Also taken care of by the wonderful Victoria.

Once we tried to get the gifts in, we were denied. So I had to open my presents at the entrance LOL.

April got me a very cool Jack Skeleton posabel doll. (very cool)

After a fun ride on Pirates Of The Caribbean we hoped over to the Bayou (were I have always wanted to eat since I was a little kid!) where we had 11 O clock reservations, made by Victoria. Where we also ran into Lori from the OC Fan Force, I think you can see her little bet in the pictures.

After that we all went over to California adventure and did stuff over there for about half the day.

In line for the roller coaster, the longest we waited all day. It wasn?t bad 45 minuets. We found things to entertain us.

Ok i have been wondering about this duck lung thing all day, i have to know what it is, how was it cooked? and how was it a sandwhich? is it really a duck lung? or is that just the name...HELP i am going crazy....most of you would say that "going" is a bit of an understatment but "gone" would not work, so oh well
