Hey, I'm no dictator (Or at least I don't want you guys to figure out that I am one.) What do you guys think? The 17th is our regular scheduled time, and Phyllis has an awesome collection. I would love to travel out there on the 17th, who else is with me?

Well, Scott, I certainly do hope you don't plan on being dead!

I guess we should wait out the weekend and see how other Black Suns vote.

This is the Chicago Area.....vote early....vote often...
    :D

Polls up and running, sounds like most of black sun is in already anyway.

I think it would be cool to hold meetings at peoples houses every once and a while anyways.

Especially if those people have a pool and hottub, and a home theater. And booze. And if they let everyone take one thing from their collection.

Any Takers? I dont ask for much do I?

Of course, the October 23rd meeting is already being held at my house (after the Kane County Toy Show). Alas, I don't have a pool, hot tub, or even a cool water feature. But I guess I could turn the hose on ya! [face_laugh]

However I don't think any of us will be looking for any water features to cool off by in late October. Burrrrr!!

But seriously, I'm always up for hosting Black Sun whenever you guys want to make the trek out to Lake in the Hills. You are always welcome.

    ARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..

Scott......man....that costume is AWESOME! I wonder if they will make it available in pieces....or just one unit? I would be seriously interested in the robe only....I like the color of Anakin's robe and the cut etc.....I can't wait to see what this costume ends up priced at.....thanks for the heads up....this is one to watch....

    and Dex...
We must remain strong and stick to our "master plan" for future collecting....as nice as the stuff looks...right now I plan to stop the 3 3/4 with the run of ROTS...and add only new figures....

    must resist!

Why does Kmart keep getting exclusives????
Didnt they close like half of their stores?

and EE, i hate when online retailers get exclusives, open a store already where i dont have to pay shipping fees.

If they did it would just be in front of a warehouse, somewhere like Virginia.

fyi... k mart stores in tinley and crestwood don't ever have anything. their shelves are empty.
as noted on another thread, we are collecting vader and palpatine stuff only. if anyone hears about something good let me know. also, our 2 year old daughter loves chewbacca and vader so if you guys see something cool and child related, do drop me a line. happy collecting.

    amen...
as I have said on numerous occasions...the "Southland" is an empty wasteland in the toy world...

Yes, the Southland wastes are not to be travelled lightly.

Of course I think that the entire chicagoland area is pretty null and void right now

Except for wherever Dan shops, he always has the best stuff

i am looking for the 'unleashed' figures. vader unleashed and yda vs. palpatine unleashed. i have looked everywhere here in the orland area. but we are in a star wars drought. these are the only figures i have not seen in a store and want very badly. if anyone finds these let me know. if you are able to pick it up i will meet you somewhere to repay you, or, if it's close, tell me the store and i will go get it myself. everyone helps each other, right?? please!..

I am looking for those too....well...you just saved me gas money in going to Orland to look...I think Asaj Ventress is the other one that they released in addition to the Vader and Palpatine/Yoda.....I don't even think that EE shows them in stock yet.

Hey Texxun_raider, i just bumped the black sun want list, you should add yourself in, and put you unleashed figs on it, you can find the forum here plus i think people need to update their lists.

Anyone think we need to start a new one? Or one for wizard world?
