Ewwww! My choices for this evening....

Fried fish that looked like you could use it as a doorstop.

Dried up turkey and some kind of spoungy lumpy white substance they called mashed potatoes.

Cheese quiche that had black spots on it.

Mac and cheese...and it looked hard.


Salad bar it is then!

Yeah, right, anyway. Better than the first fil? My arse. It follwed the exact same formula as the original, and direct parallels can be drawn between particular scenes (flashback start, niftay fight at start, enter story, Blade gets captured, Blade's precious Daywalker blood taken, Blade gets blooded up after being saved by co star, blade go's into lackey ass kicking mode, Blade kicks major bad guys arse, film ends with hip humourous scene). It also heavily rips off Aliens. Please... a parasitic virus ( or can you say organism anyone?) creates a viscious powerful monter ( or so it appears at first), hordes of monsters attack, band of hardenedfighters take 'em on... many die. Nomak can be paralleled to the Alien queen. And Rienharts supposed deatyh at the hand of the Reapers? Hudson rip off, seeing asd he screams obscenities as he falls under the hoardes. And the UV flashbang bomb? reminiscent of Gorman and Vasquez' death in Aliens, no? Oh yeah, and Scud... is his real name Burke maybe?
On the upside, the fight scenes were top notch, the effects were good.
If you expected originality and story, pass. If you wanted top notch action flick... it fits the bill. Luckily, I wanted top notch action. And Kudos to Luke Goss, he was good.
