    I'm guessing he'll be some eccentric replicant, male equivalent of Pris.

    I'm not terribly excited for Leto's casting. I haven't seen him do well in anything actually, even the Joker. He's a great singer though :)

    Can't say I was too impressed with those movies. Not my cup of tea really.

    A contruction worker died on set

    Unfortunate. He was taking a set apart and it collapsed on him.

    On a brighter note I must have missed the release date of Oct 5 2017.

    It's nice to see Harrison Ford doing this sunset victory lap, but when do we get Witness 2?

    Finally, I can replace the vaguely disgusting thread title with a vaguely disgusting film title.

    The tortoise lays on its back his belly baking in the hot Sun beating its legs trying to turn itself over but it can't, not without your help. But you're not helping. I mean you're not helping. Why is that, Ramza?

    A bit of contradiction

    The director says Deckard as replicant or not should remain a mystery. But as someone posted in the comments section:

    Wired: It was never on paper that Deckard is a replicant.
    Scott:It was, actually. That’s the whole point of Gaff, the guy who makes origami and leaves little matchstick figures around. He doesn’t like Deckard, and we don’t really know why. If you take for granted for a moment that, let’s say, Deckard is a Nexus 7, he probably has an unknown life span and therefore is starting to get awfully human. Gaff, at the very end, leaves an origami, which is a piece of silver paper you might find in a cigarette packet, and it’s a unicorn. Now, the unicorn in Deckard’s daydream tells me that Deckard wouldn’t normally talk about such a thing to anyone. If Gaff knew about that, it’s Gaff’s message to say, “I’ve read your file, mate.” That relates to Deckard’s first speech to Rachael when he says, “That’s not your imagination, that’s Tyrell’s niece’s daydream.” And he describes a little spider on a bush outside the window. The spider is an implanted piece of imagination. And therefore Deckard, too, has imagination and even history implanted in his head.

    Oh great….another amazing CG futuristic city. Never seen that in a movie before expect maybe a dozen movies in the last two years.

    If this doesn't have any of the great subtext of the Scott's movie, then I will walk out! :p

    Yup, that's what I'm afraid of. Theatrical Cut. Director's Cut. Director's Uncle's Cut. Director's Uncle's Ultimate Cut.

    I love Scott's numerous versions even if I have a hard time deciding which one I prefer( I don't like the voiceover theatrical I will say that). I doubt they will do that for this film.

    Please, it'll be:

    * Working print
    * San Diego Version (probably for a convention this time around)
    * US theatrical release
    * International theatrical release
    * Chinese theatrical release
    * Television/streaming release
    * Director's Cut
    * Ultimate Cut

    As for the question of Deckard as a replicant; anyone who missed that the entire point of the ****ing Director's Cut was to remove any doubt Deckard was a replicant is an idiot. Gaff's origami directly telegraphs this. The chicken when Deckard is refusing the assignment. The man with the hard-on when he's on the case. And the unicorn at the end, which comes from the dream sequence inserted into the Director's Cut. Deckard's a replicant, and a different one at that.

    Plus Deckard's replicant eyes are more obvious in this cut than the original cut.
