I'm an Aries, and I've got my zombie-smackin' bat ready.
I'm usually an Aries or a Taurus...depends on the paper or blah blah blah blah blah...I don't believe in that mojo!
--stupid keyboard...not typing what in the correct order I tell it to....
The 'ole PEBKAC error, eh?
LOL...that reminds me...I need Peaches to go pick me up a Humvee Key, Camoflauge Spray Paint, and some flight line....

Assuming, of course, that it's even real.
That is cool. Looks real to me.
If I was in any way, shape, or form gifted with any kind of talent...I WOULD DEFINENTLY DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!
Snopes confirmed it to be the real deal. I'm too lazy to link it.
Shame I don't have any talent...
or the drive to do something like that.
On Wednesday evening, I caught "The Year Without a Santa Claus" at ComedySportz. It's a fun spoof of the Rankin/Bass Christmas special adapted and directed by Jason Chin (who did previous Star Wars spoofs The Fandom Menace and A Song Time Ago) with music direction by Steph McCullough (soulcoughing). It was really funny and had great perfomances by Shannon Strodel as Mrs. Claus and Matt Hicks as Santa. There's more info at ComedySportz' website [link=http://www.comedysportzchicago.com/site/epage/3327_245.htm#110405]here[/link].
It only has two more performances: December 18 at 3:00 P.M. and December 21 at 7:30 P.M. I really recommend it.
Jason Chin's shows always made me laugh till it hurt. I'd recommend it too, plus steph rocks!
Went to the KLOS Mark and Brain X-mas show at the Wiltern last thursday.
Oh man, best show ever.
Trans-Syberian Orchestra played, along with the house band from Rockstar INXS, Billy Bob Thorton's band, Kenny Wayne Shepard, and Foreigner.
Funniest bits were with Mark and Brian dressed as Johnny Cash and June Carter, and Billy Bob reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
i'd be interested in hearing more about how any event featuring Foreigner can be termed "best show ever."
Ok, so taste is obviously subjective here.
With DA in the conversation, "taste" isn't even worth mentioning.
You can't really fault me and Thom for loving Foreigner so much....they did write "our song":
But sometimes I wonder as I look in your eyes
Maybe you?re thinking of some other guy
But I know, yes I know, how to treat you right
That?s why you call me in the middle of the night
You say it?s urgent
So urgent, so oh oh urgent
Just wait and see
How urgent my love can be
You named your hand after me, Bosh? That's... more than a little disturbing.
If you think that's disturbing, you should see what I do to it.
"Boy, when you die at the palace, you really DIE at the palace!"
