Can the holiday be to a destination of my choice?
'Murcan holiday... not Limey holiday.
So guns, crappy beer, freedom will all be involved? Instead of a 'murcan holiday, could I have a merkin holiday?
I had one letter wrong. Gimme a break. Or my merkin.
Yes I remember, "And from them came the men of Reknown, the hero's of old." Some BS like that.
Achilles would have killed them all.
They all became monsters though.
Kevin Peter Hall was 7'3.....
"Strike a pose!"
Bolaji Bodejo was 7'2....
Peter Mayhew is 7'2"....
Ian Whyte is 7'1"
"Half Voldemort, Half Dr. Manhattan! Like a Voldehattan. Or a Manhattamort."
What's the question / topic we're supposed to be discussing, someone please?
But yet, you're here commenting. Why did you click on this thread to begin with? Either from hatred, insecurity or both. At the end of the day, you believe in the origin of the universe and all matter based on FAITH, not any type of empirical evidence (because none exists). So you can say what you like, but at the end of the day you are just a faith-based believer. And the notion that there is a real God, who is actually watching and observing you and will one day judge you is repulsive for one of 2 reasons: either you reject the notion of not being the god of your life and universe or 2) you fear the possibility of hell and damnation. Thus the easy response is to come and troll anything related to the Bible, the soul, spirituality, heaven, hell etc. and put your FAITH in the speculation of some scientific theory you have not even researched to great detail (and before you get it twisted, one of my closest friends is a Stanford Professor and particle physicist who has worked with CERN, so I am fairly familiar with science's attempts to explain the origin of matter). So while you try to mock, in your soul, that you don't believe exists, you're just clinging to your faith.
You newbies have to understand that I have been in literally thousands of arguments on this site. I have seen all sorts of mocking, trolling, hatred, racism etc., come and go. So you can say what you like, you are not going to dissuade me in the least from discussing the Bible or any topic for that matter.
Hatred is my prime motivation for clicking links.
Achilles of course being half-god, half man, which of course goes back to the topic at hand since in the Bible, certain angels presented themselves as "gods" to humanity.
I respect your Freudian honesty.
So what, my Dad is a Dean at Hartvard
I'm not familiar with Hartvard.
And BTW- I still stand by my point. You're just believing based on faith like the people you try to mock.
was deep in faith and hatred.
Oh it was a serious inquiry? Just like your initial post was serious too. riiight. lol.
Welcome to the JCC.
Don't stop believing.
Complete apathy towards the discussion of minutiae about Hebrew mithology does not equal hatred.
I, for one, do not give a **** about Nephilim, Elohim, Gibborim or whatever you would have. That doesn't mean I feel any kind of hate towards the (admittedly not very numerous) people that think discussing human/angel hybrids outside of the context of science-fiction or fantasy is the same as discussing science, nor that I think they are deluded, stupid or intellectually inferior. I mean, they usually give the same weight to a hodge-podge of Bronze Age texts than to the scientific method but, who am I to think they are cretins? Most of them are okay people.
Go ahead and talk about your half-angels (EL +2, lol, D&D joke). I'll read with interest.
Diggy's not a newbie. lurkmoar.
If you were apathetic about the discussion you wouldn't be posting. LOL.
Oh and BTW, nice try to twist my words. I did not say discussing the Nephilim was the same as discussing science. I said one's belief in the origin of matter is based on FAITH, and is wholly unscientific, because there is no empirical evidence for same.
You sure have much to say (albeit incorrectly) for someone so apathetic! LOL
I have very much enjoyed learning of the Nephilim as they have been depicted in the Prophecy movies.
