There were about a dozen that I can remember from last year. Basically some high energy music is pumpin' while we waved, high fived, and danced for hours. Not for everyone, but you also can stay as long as you can.

Water will be provided.

You will also get Bloomsday volunteer shirts if you let me know what size you want in time.

So, I know I'm going, Both Alfredo and Nathan are planning on it, who else?

EDIT: For shirts, I'll take a Medium. If Noelle is able (and I'd be willing to bet money she will) she'll want a Small.

Heather was wondering if we could do any skits? Of those participating, is anyone interested?

 

Hmm.
Let's see. I'll be wearing 50 pounds of armor and a mask with little-to-no visibility, carrying a VERY solid shield, and a 9ft. spear with (though fake) very pointy dual tips...
If anyone's interested in risking a cuncussion or something worse, then, yeah, I can do a skit of some sort...
Truth be told, I am probably best utilized JUST standing somewhere and trying to look cool.....

 

I might come down to hang out and cheer on the runners.

 

Given the timing I think skits probably aren't in the cards this time. Mason if they are available, I'll take a 4 or 5x shirt. If they aren't it's all good.

I'm debating on what garb to go in this time, (Shadow Jedi, Nerf herder/smuggler/guy with too many guns, Renn faire garb, fantasy/guy with too many blades or???) Any thoughts?

 

Yeah, I didn't want to push the skit thing, but I mentioned it in case someone wanted to run with it. I think that we can put anything together on the spot anyway.

Ok, so I screwed up and took too long to get her shirt numbers. I hope we can all be friendly and work through who really wants one and who can live without on Sunday.

 

No worries on a shirt for me, not important at all.

 

So, great fun for all today. Talking to the Spocon reps, it sounds like we did well.
