Didnt someone have a solution to block all the changes? I dont mind this one, but a lot of times, they just plain suck, and the designers need to go back to color theory.

I have to agree. it is really annoying. This is exactly what my computer and HTML teacher told us not to do on the first day of class.

But in general, I do like these colors together.

its just ugly, unpleasant and probably causing undo eye strain.

I wish they'd let you set a default for all the forums........i feel like im on mr. toads wild ride.

 

I kinda like the revolving color/banner schemes. It's a nice change of pace from other boards I post at that keep the same look all the time. Some of the color schemes are definitely annoying, though.

 

We need the bright yellow Vader.

 

It's grey for the text. And I like it. It's that rust, dark rust that give me migraines.

 

ok, I operate on 2 different monitors.

At home, on my LCD, this is a great theme.

At work, on my old CRT, this is almost impossible to read.

I think it has to do with backlighting for the blue text...on older monitors it just blends in too much.

I like dark themes, by high contrast text colors are best for everyone.

 

Only the headers are blue on black, and personally, that's what I least look at. And even then, by now you should know what reads where.

Your CRT's gotta be really old, man. I don't have that problem on my one.

Anyway, if wanted, I can lighten the blue a bit.
