Rogue One Blue squadron question/mistake

    From what I saw only about 5 or 6 X wings from Blue Squadron made it through the shield then it closed. Blue Leader and a few others were shot down but as the battle went on you saw several other X Wings fighting? Where did they come from ?Somebody messed up

    More X-wings slipped thru the gate than we saw, before it closed. No biggie.

    Yeah, more X-wings than what we actually saw could have gotten in.
