How is this a confirmation?

 

Well because you can tell in the TC/Ep-X video that Anakin and Obi-Wan use those sabers against each other (at least at some point) in the duel.

 

I haven't noticed that. I'll go check it out!

Blue versus Blue Duel Confirmed

Sounds familiar.

 

I still don't see a confirmation. Its too small and blurry to clearly see. How did you come to that conclusion?

 

Look in the other thread...here is what I posted:

At 2:06 Obi-Wan is clearly using his ANH Saber against Anakin. At 2:18 there is a somewhat blurred shot of Anakin's saber. It has the black grips on the bottom and a silver body which would lend me to believe it's the ANH/Luke Graflex based saber.

 

It looks to me like obiwan is dueling a wookie

Now then, Anakin is Vader before the suit, AND you don't have to be a Jedi to swing a blue saber, or a Sith to swing a red one. Confirmed. Former allegiance withstanding ala Dooku and now Anakin, 2 former Jedi,(both Sith) one using a Red and one uses a Blue -to start that is- Ya!

I'll send ya a postcard from Vegas, I'm lucky today baby!

It should be Anakin with two sabers-one red and one blue vs Obi's saber. Oh well if it's blue vs blue no matter--the duel will stick kick a$$!

 

Can someone post Anakin's blue hilt next to Vader's red hilt? I know I am likely wrong, but I could have sworn they were nearly identical, so a blurry picture wouldn't "confirm" much, not to say I disagree or am against a blue/blue duel.

 

E CHU TA!, that's not confirmation. Anakin uses three lightsabers in Episode III (like he did in II).

Aside from the black at the tip, these models are VERY similar.
