Wow, i'm all for blue vs blue but that's really hard to tell from that pic. Sure there's like 3 pixels that look like silver but it's still not quite there.

Can't wait to see this video.

 

Maybe it's just me, but I cannot discern a lightsaber hilt from that image.

 

Blue vs. blue would be great. The color blue represents the the light side, to see two blue sabers forced to do battle against eachother would be amazing. As long as Anakin wields a blue saber it is a flicker of hope to Ob1 that he may be able to turn Anakin back. As soon as Anakin activates a red saber he will become Vader, and with this the last shreds of hope that he may turn back are dashed away.

 

I can clearly see that the ?Wookie? is holding Anakin's blue bladed saber in his right hand, dehrian.

 

just because they're filming the duel with two blue sabers that doesn't mean its going to end up being blue vs. blue. in episode 1, obi-wan and qui-gon were filmed with green sabers, but obi-wan's saber ended up blue.

 

I would need to see a bigger pic for this to be confirmation..but if it is I will be very happy cause I have wanted to see blue on blue since I started thinking about EPI III but the bigger issue is WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?? and can we get more

We have been referring to the hilts and not the graphite shafts, brook_33.

 

I know we've never seen a Sith fight with a Jedi Sabre but we have seen one weild one. Vader lit up Lukes green sabre after he was captured in ROTJ.

With Anakin supposedly using Dooku's red sabre near the start and now apparently a blue sabre near the end this could show how his allegience is in the balance. This would add to the ROTJ scene (Vader with green sabre) as looking back over them this could be the first hint that Vader is comng back from the dark side.

Exactly. It would also symbolize the little good left in him (blue=good), the slight chance for Obi-Wan to turn him back.

 

Ok, LMM (thanks!) released a small clip of the video on the monster thread on page 38. There are a couple of frames that show pretty clearly Anakin using Luke's ANH saber against Obi-Wan.

Can't wait to see this whole video!

Not me. Blue vs blue would be too confusing to follow, not to mention visually unappealing. Red vs blue for me, thanks.

They're not interior decorating here, they're opening up a can of whoop ass and gorging themselves and then asking for seconds ! It's the duel man, Blue on Blue, white on rice, it will kick ass. GL knows it better! Besides the symbolisim as stated here already is perfect. The man makes the allegiance, not the blade.
