The script also confirms blue versus blue only.

And so don't we need some people to come in here and eat some humble pie? Or are there still folks hanging on to the idea of a secret red saber?

People still believe that there's a chance. You won't get humble pie until 19th May!

    P.S. Not me...

Anakin flips a switch on his lightsaber to turn it red in the lego star wars video game, which was TehAWESOME!!!! I hope that happens in the film.

Afer Anakin falls on the hot sand Obi-Wan picks up Anakin's blue saber. Since the duel doesn't take place in the same room, how was he going to go from blue to red and then back to blue again

People are STILL arguing this? Take a look at any of the promotional materials people. Like, um, say, THE TRAILER? Or any of the duel pictures. There's only about a zillion of them online.

And the pics from MF.com today show Obi Wan picking up Anakin's saber after the duel. This is the saber he gives Luke. And Luke's saber is BLUE.

I've accepted the truth. It's Blue vs Blue.

I'm denying it, even though I know it's the truth.

    I know... I have a problem.

Don't worry - there are a lot of people out there who share your problem.

You should discuss it akin to an AA meeting!

I'd say the movie poster pretty much gives it away.

Unless maybe the poster is showing a different duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Maybe a pre-duel duel, where Anakin uses his blue saber for a while, then chucks it in the lava and whips out a red saber. Simultaneously, he'll tell Obi-Wan that he's also not actually left-handed, and a laughing Obi-Wan will confide that he's not actually left-handed either, and then they'll REALLY duel!

This just makes no sense for Lucas to give the ok for the Lego game to have a red saber used by Anakin, and the figure with the option to put in the red sabered hand!

Yeah, I really doubt Lucas played the Lego game or saw the action figure. He has people to handle that sort of thing.

But somebody in the know, would have to ok these products. There are only two reasons for this, either its a subtle hint of things to come, or they like screwing with the die hard fans

No, they like making money. More options makes a toy/game more appealing, meaning more people will buy buy buy.

And Addiction is a sock! :p

But to be precise, it was never in my signature.

And of all things to be wrong on, it at least it wasn't crazy to be wrong about the color since Sith traditionally carry red lightsabers. I was half right in this prediction and the half I was right about was that Anakin would be Darth Vader in the duel.

Yeah, I think Vader will yield only a blue sabre during the Duel. If he had a red one, why would he still use his Blue? Because he trusts it? Nope. Because he hasn't had time to create a new one.
