have been spaming
so we are on the edge

I'm not on the High Council anymore, but I'll say this with arrogance.

The BYS WILL NOT be shut down for any reason. This crap will be dealt with one by one.

 

You know, I can't help but notice that the JC Forum members that come into the BYS after actually meaningfully posting in threads, learning the etiquette, generating ideas, having discussions, talking about Star Wars at least occaisionally, and developing an on-line voice seem to do much better here. They seem to last for awhile and they seem to contribute, and they come across as being real. They come and go as they please, and when they come in, they're always welcome.

Of course, then we get the socks who act like newbies, have 12 posts under their belt, yet know their way around the boards, and inexplicably manage to find this thread in Miscellaneous, of all places. I know that aren't many EPIII spoilers coming out yet, what in god's green earth would cause a newbie to come to Miscellaneous. When I first registered here (some three years ago), I didn't even know that there was a Miscellaneous boards. In fact, I didn't find out about them, until the BYS moved here. Yet, apparently, it's got some freakin' magnetic draw to new users. Well, I don't buy it.
