Thanks, I haven't actually properly shaded something in just pencil for a while, so i'm working on that on another piece, I sometimes miss doing things the old-fashioned way

Thanks NYCG! These were the last things I was able to scan before my computer went KABOOM! so at least i've got something to mess about with until I get a new scanner, the old one isn't compatible

Very nice new image, it seems to me like an anti hero shadow snap shot and he's just about to reveal his identity. Fan-tastic!

Love the new works. Jabba and Leia look superb, Jabba does indeed look gruesome *shudders* The Reshaping is awesome, it's so intense. And the WIP is looking good, may I ask what software you use to colour?

Jabba took an age to colour (as you can imagine for one of his size ) I use a few programs to colour, but mainly Painter X and Photoshop in conjunction with my wacom tablet and stylus I love the variety of brushes you get with painter X, they are often adding more in new updates.

I seem to have a more painterly way of colouring compared to those friends of mine IRL that do digital art, but I guess that's because I was a bit of a traditionalist until early 2007 hehe. I was a bit of a typical Yuuzhie techno-hater until someone literally hurled a stylus at me and said, "give it a go!"
So I did, I was hooked and the rest is history!

 

Amazing!! The colors are awesome. The Reshaping is my favorite - I adore the flowing, snake-like way you draw the Vong.

Thanks TOJP I was going to make it simply black with some purple accented highlights, but i'd not used the red before, and I have seen some concepts of red armour floating around that looked pretty cool, so I thought i'd give it a try.
