The links to various forums still point to the old locations, meaning they aren't there. Could someone fix this, so that if I'm in the "Books" section, and I use the link for "Forum" that it'll take me to the actual forum?
Could you be more specific - are your referring to links in stickied posts, or something in the navigation? If it's the former, you need to contact a moderator for the section in question, because there is no good blanket fix for that problem.
I think I know where you're coming from on this. If I'm right, there's a workaround - from the screen that tells you that there's been an error. Click on the Jedi Council Forums link at the top of the screen and that will redirect you to the Forum List.
We're hoping this gets fixed in the new board update. The links are still using the old URLs. In the meantime, there is a workaround. I'm actually fixing the Comms index right now, so this is a perfect example. Say you have a link for an old thread that takes you nowhere, like this one. http://boards.theforce.net/Communications/b10006/14852446/129 Copy the 8 digit code at the end. http://boards.theforce.net/Communications/b10006/14852446/129 The short new URL for this thread is now boards.theforce.net/threads/14852446 When you click on it, the whole URL should expand into the whole thread. If the link is to a forum, then instead of /threads/ use /forums/.
