Okiday...how about him fighting on Khasssyk? that would explain how he got the wookie scalp on his shoulder.

I wouldn't have liked seeing either of those.

I'm pretty sure non-fans are the minority, but I haven't been around here long enough to know.

Maybe he will show up somewhere in the Force Unleashed game or literature.

I'd say Fett fans are a very vocal minority.

Anyway, I'm not one of them so that's probably largely why I think he didn't need to be in RotS. I think his insertion would have been almost as bad as the wild Han they were considering. I'd at most want Fett to have a background cameo.

I'm a Boba fan, but I dunno. There would've been no real good reason to have him on Kashyyyk. Wookiee pelts can come from any point in time. Such as any Wookiee who escaped from being enslaved.

I was hoping for some Boba/Jabba-ness for EpIII at the time.

I am a bobba fett fan, but he's not my favorite. I just like the mysterious mandalorian bounty hunters I guess.

He might make an appearance in Force Unleashed, but it's still far too early to know. I have a feeling he'll be all up in the live action show atleast for an episode or two.

However, there was no real need for Bobba or jabba in ROTS. Jabba usually resides on Tatooine which only made it in with 2 seconds of the movie left. Bobba had nothing to contribute to the story line and the movie was a full two hours after Lucas chopping down enough of the important scenes.

And I agree with Master Starwalker, having him in might even be as bad as the baby Han Solo idea.

I hate the fact that Lucas made Fett one of his cronies that hangs around him until needed. I always thought it was odd for an infamous bounty hunter like Boba Fett to be hanging around Jabba's palace for six months, until I read the background story of why he stayed in the West End Games character supplement book that came out in '87. But, when the special edition movies came out, it confirmed my first assumption that he was just another lackey of Jabba's. I also liked the fact that the cartoon "The Faithful Wookie" was the first time they've encountered Fett, and a reference was made about it in the ESB. But, that also has been contradicted in the special editions when they showed him with Jabba in the Mos Eisley Docking Bay. Han would have recognized Fett the moment he saw him.

Boba and Jabba have a good working relationship. Hence we see them together in the OT. But he is far from his lackey. Boba tracked the Falcon's location on Tatooine and informed Jabba. He was still there because he had not been dismissed.

Fett did try to kill Mace Windu & he has met Anakin Skywalker.

Boba Fett tried to give pursuit in Slave I, but the ship was damaged in a dogfight with Asajj Ventress. Slave I was actually saved from destruction because of the intervention of a young Jedi Knight named Anakin Skywalker, who drove off Ventress. After forcing Slave I to land on a nearby moon, Skywalker and Fett met for the first time. Skywalker, knowing that Fett was obviously not a Separatist, assisted Boba in repairing his ship. During this time, Boba repainted his armor, which was identical to Jango Fett's, into the green color scheme that he is most identified with, thus making it his own. Even though Skywalker had helped him repair his ship, he was intent on taking Fett in for violating air space in a Republic controlled military zone. Boba convinced Skywalker, however, that he had information vital to the Republic's survival; information he would only tell the Supreme Chancellor. The information Boba had was knowledge that Count Dooku and Darth Tyranus were one and the same person. He would trade this information in order to get close to the one person he hated the most?the Jedi who had killed his father on Geonosis, Mace Windu.

After being escorted to Coruscant by Governor Tarkin, Boba finally acquired his one and only chance at Mace Windu. Boba followed and waited for the Jedi in the Supreme Chancellor's chambers, of all places. Boba engaged Mace Windu in combat but could not kill the Jedi Master. The two stood, battered and wounded, each ready to deliver a final blow with their weapons. The fight was actually halted by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, before either one could make a move. Boba was surprised to learn that the Chancellor already knew that Dooku was Tyranus. He also knew that Boba would hunt down Mace Windu, once he arrived on Coruscant. "I believe we share a common enemy," the Chancellor told Fett. Palpatine paid Fett for his information and told him never to speak of their conversation again, an agreement that Boba wisely kept. Then the Chancellor sent him on his way.

By the end of the Clone Wars, Boba Fett had reached the age of thirteen?the traditional start of adulthood in Mandalorian culture. Fett was now a fully-fledged bounty hunter.

And now the TV show will show us that he shall OWN the hides of the remaining sabre-twirling Trekish monks!

    Don't think we won't!
That scene in the arena is too good not too use - a Jedi killed his 'father'...
My vintage figure shall rule my homestead once again, keeping in line my wife, son and cats!

(To the tune of Jan & Dean's 'Barbara Ann')

Bo Bo Bo, Bo Boba Fett
    Bo Bo Bo, Bo Boba-
    Boba Fett
    Blood spill you'll let
    Oh Boba Fett
You got your rockets and your jet pack and your Slave One and your helmet
Boba Fett (Bo Bo, Bo Boba Fett)

I agree with Agent. Before AOTC there were some pretty solid spoilers about Fett having a parallel story arc to Anakin. In that they both lost a parent and see the Jedi as the ultimate cause and turn against them. This was a very interesting idea.

Cool. Yeah, that would have been very nice..I guess they saved it all for the TV show. and I didn't have a problem with seeing the Young Han Solo running around as a boy in ROTS. I liked that idea.

    Huh?

    ***

As a Boba-Fett fan, I liked the history that the PT filled in.
But to say or suggest that he was needed in ROTS, I disagree. Fett's cult-like following started because of what we didn't know and what we didn't see.

Seeing more of him, just for the sake of seeing isn't enough for me.
At least Chewie offered a paw to help Yoda escape, so his cameo had real worth.

We already know Boba's origins, the reason he hates Jedi and that by the time of the OT he had become a bounty hunter, what more do we need to see from him during ROTS?

After Obi-Wan gets shot down the screen cuts to Ki-Adi-Mundi. The clone commander who shoots at him is Commander Bacara.

Daniel Logan couldn't talk to you about his role(s) in Star Wars after AoTC because there's a TV series coming out, dude... ;)

George has also made it clear that he 'couldn't say' nobody from the movies wouldn't be there, because... well... they will be! :p

Seems to me Boba'd be pretty good fodder for at least some cameos, if not his own ongoing part in a Star Wars TV series...

Whoa I thought Boba was 10 in AOTC! or was the clone army in production before TPM?

    10 + 3= not enough to take out Maceo_O

No, that's correct. Boba was ten in AOTC and thirteen in ROTS. By the time the series begins, he'll be in his mid to late teens.

Boba was actually 11 in AOTC..I think he turned at the end of AOTC...so he would have been 14 in ROTS..My nephew is 14 and he very well, wear the suit.

I'm betting that's about a 99.9% certainty. Anything that takes place in a timeframe where Boba Fett is pretty much an adult is like...by default going to have him at least make a cameo.

Probably in the video game, maybe in the book or comic. It's like some kind of unwritten law for games that take place within his lifespan.

That's because the majority of the Star Wars games are set during the time period of the films. Only the Jedi Knight and Knights Of The Old Republic games take place outside of the film era.
