CT Body disappearing

that still seems to be before death, Darth Maul wasn't killed time he was cut in half

 

It's possible that the technique allowed him to transform into the Force at will, and that he disappeared just before the moment of his death to avoid all that nasty pain stuff that tends to come along with dying.

More likely though, it was just a consequence of 1970's special effects. As for Maul, that's a mystery of it's own. What I do know is that Maul apparently had a strong will to stay alive and called upon the Dark Side to help him do so, while Obi-Wan willingly sacrificed his life to help Luke.

I want there to be two halves of Darth Maul running around. One with a Force Ghost Torso, the other with a Force Ghost set of legs.
