ST Bond between Finn and Poe Going Forward

We gather here today and for the foreseeable future to discuss the future bond between Finn and Poe now that more information will be popping up.

Will they go their separate ways, form a strong a friendship, or maybe even see the start of romance?

I am probably going to get confused now and stumble into here when I'm looking for Finn/Rey thread.

You know I expected them to be together for a lot of VIII, but the latest rumors suggest Poe will be leading the Resistance while Finn and Kelly Tran are out on some kind of mission.

I hope these two wind up spending a lot of time in VIII together - given that Variety named them one of the best on-screen duos of 2015 and the internet's hooked on Stormpilot, it'd be a shame to keep them separated for too long.

Though if we get another hug scene I won't complain.

And they can switch between who has to carry him in a baby sling next.

 

TFA's most popular pairing is sure to draw in $$$...I think its a sure thing we'll be getting more scenes with them together. Poe will be the first person Finn sees when wakes up from his coma..it doesn't get more romantic than that

 

Man, this thread actually seems way overdue considering how mainstream this theory is.

But they were an inter-species bromance. This is the first human bromance.

If they do go the romance route for these two (and that's a very big if honestly), I bet it'll stay mostly subtextual so as not to ruffle any feathers. If the films confirm Poe to be gay, that'll be a big enough step for the franchise.

Still, I've got my fingers crossed that it could happen. Boyega and Isaac have excellent chemistry and their characters play well off each other. And the press surrounding the potential pairing is so positive. It's rare to see the media at large rally behind a potential slash ship in a positive light.

 

Is it possible that a man should be sensitive unless they tell you that he is Gay, but Poe and Finn have great chemistry between them.
It's possible this relationship in Star Wars VIII or Star Wars IX?

 

You are really going to be testing their patience now.

 

The biggest problem in the universe is no one helps each other. AND THEN: they block me. Ironic.

 

I hope we get to see them taking on a few stormtroopers together. Or maybe Poe piloting and Finn shooting again (although hopefully without another crash this time - but with BB-8's additional help they should be fine ).

If you were hinting at a full-blown stormpilot relationship - wouldn't mind that either. Poe's lip bite has become iconic already.
