Hey! I'm starting a new thread for this so that the info will be at the top of the thread. First off, I'm quoting Bacon from her thread:

Here are the rules from the Zoo staff:

* Volunteers need to be available for the duration of the evening events, arriving at 5:30 p.m. and staying until approximately 9:30 (or until guests leave).
* Volunteers who sign up in the haunted house are required to wear a costume. Costumes can be as simple or as extravagant as you like.
* Volunteers must be 14 years old or older to participate without an accompanying adult.

The dates in green are the ones that no one seems to have scheduling conflicts with. Therefore, we have four days to choose from. I need feedback, either by PM or reply to this thread, on what days everyone likes and who may be interested in volunteering. We have time, I would like to have solid information by the end of September on who will be our team.

Yes, if the birth goes well, our family plans on being there. Halloween is our favorite holiday, and we wouldn't miss this!!

 

I'm out if it's on the 27th...

But the prior weekend looks to be ok.

(That's if I can do it in the first place...)

Fri 20th and/or Sat 21st looks good for me too Couldn't do it during the week due to the lateness they want folks to stay.

 

Okay, I've updated the dates to show that the 27th is out...

 

Why don't we go for the Friday one?

 

I think Friday or Saturday would work for me.

 

Friday evening might be better (then we're not tying up anyone's Saturday...)

Anybody else have a preference???

Well, I was going to say I preferred Friday, but then I realized Friday is my wife's birthday, so I prefer Saturday.

 

I'm still out if it's on a Saturday.

Friday is the date that works for me....but, in the short run...I might not be able to do this one at all...It's still kind of depending on the mood of my Dr. and the babies....

I won't stand alone. Whether it's Friday or Saturday, I can be there.

 

I'm gonna go with the 21st, if that sounds okay with everyone else. I suddenly realized that if it's on Friday, none of my family could do it. Any other people have input?

I'm not sure I can be there, but it's more likely on the 21st. Go with it. I'm sure we can muster a respectable number.

Good Heavens, is this going to end up being cancelled? It seems more people are getting tied up doing something else.

 

Okay, people, here's the deal. I just found out that another commitment that our family had made falls on the 21st. So, that would leave Lavender, Otis and Kynstar alone that night. We could throw out the 20th again and see how many bites we have. Or we could scrap this particular event.

 

Try for the 20th then if need be I'm game for it

 

The 20th is a Friday... There is nothing highlit on my schedule for the 20th and I don't have class on Fridays, so yes, I'd still make it.

 

We still cant make it on the 20th that whole weekend is out for us. Sorry guys I really wanted to do the Zoo.

 

I vote to scrap it for my part. October is way too busy for my and mine as it is.

 

If it turns out to be only the 3 of us on Saturday, I'll certainly try and make the best of it.
