Book Club Part Duex

So we are looking at Friday the 18th for our next book club meeting who is going to be coming and are we sticking with just Shadows of the Empire or will we be discussing the 1st book in the bounty hunter series too?

 

Kenzi and I will be there, and we're planning on discussing Shadows for sure, and Mandalorian Armor if everybody gets most, if not all of it, finished. Speaking of which, Kenzi and I have an extra copy, if any wants to borrow it to read. If so, you'll probably have to pick it up after we get back from California, as we leave early tomorrow morning.

 

Billy, can I borrow both Shadows and Mandalorian Armor? I could pick them up tonight, if that was alright. Kenzi said that Shadows was an easy read and I should get through it quickly. LMK.

Following the Bounty Hunter Wars would be the Truce at Bakura. If someone would like to borrow my copy at the next book club meeting I will bring it.

 

Lisa, we left early Thursday morning, but we will be back Monday night, so you can pick it up any time after that. Roger, we still have the other two books in the Bounty Hunter Wars, and then we'll read Truce at Bakura.

 

Unfortunately I am going out of town to visit my parents that weekend. I think that maybe we should look at starting a post after every meeting with the general comments from the meeting so everyone who can't attend can put his or her input in on the books.

Excellent idea Heath. We just want to be sure we don't give out too much info about the book. Just in case there is anyone out there who hasn't read the book, but plans on doing so.

Billy-I'm in class from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesday. I can swing by before or after class. What's the best time for you guys?

We're gonna have some drinks and snacks, but you're welcome to bring something if you want.

 

Being Good Friday I have church activities so I won't be there tomorrow night. Hope someone posts some of the discussions.

Ok, we decided to have the May book club meeting at the home of Amanda and Russ. PM her by clicking here for directions.

 

PM me for directions to get to the house. Also, I would like a head count just so I know about how many to expect. I'll have some nachos, chips, dip and drinks. Feel free to bring anythng else you would like.
