Char, NC [Book Club] Star Wars: A New Hope on Sat, Aug 18th at 11am

Book: Star Wars: A New Hope written by someone named George Lucas????
Date/Time: Saturday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m.
Place: Beatties Ford Rd Library

Luke Skywalker dreamed of advantues out among the stars and alien worlds. But when he intercepted a message from a beautiful captive princess, he got more than he had bargained for?and that was how the adventure of his life began....

We will do away with our spoiler policy for this book because it IS the novelisation of a movie we have all seen

We will probably meet for an hour to an hour and half.

Everyone is welcome but please post that you will be attending so that we know how many seats to set up.

Irony. Well, he still has yet to release the Super Duper Ultimate DVD!!!

Nothing like that. GL use anothers medium. It will be something that requires a Lucasfilm player that will be super duper cheap.

 

I'm going to arrange for all of our money just to be deposited directly to the "Buy George Lucas An Island Fund".
