Legacy of the Force: Revelation came out last Tuesday. So far I'm about 100 pages in, and it's the same old Karen Traviss stuff as her other books in this series.

It gets somewhat better but I am a bit bewildered in the idea that they can close all of the Series gaps with a 299 page finale.

I still want to re-read them all.

Finished SW: LotF: Invincible yesterday. Really good book, but it seemed like it was over kind of abruptly? All in all, I loved the whole series. It probably could`ve been written in fewer volumes but I still enjoyed it.

    Horn: "Do we trust them?"
Wessiri: "What does your gut say?"
Horn: "In for a micron, in for a meter. No one makes a victim of folks I'm sworn to protect."
? Corran Horn and Iella Wessiri

I'm re-reading Rogue Squadron: Family Ties... Good book!

Sorry, Nutty. Don`t know how I missed this. This thread gets buried alot[face_frustrated]

Anywho, since your post, Coruscant Nights started. Its a trilogy set just after revenge of the sith.
The final Republic Commando book "Order 66" comes out in Sept. And of course The Force Unleashed just came out last week.
As far as anything after LotF, "Millenium Falcon" should be out in Oct and its set about 2 years after the death of Caedus. Looks like a one-shot book.

Finished The Force Unleashed today. I, actually liked it alot considering its based on a video game. It felt like a video game story a few times but it was still pretty exciting. I liked how they bridged the prequels and original trilogy. It did leave me with a few unanswered questions regarding Starkiller/Galen, but nothing that ruined it for me.

    Did anyone else read this?

I picked up the graphic novel and look forward to picking up the book. It was good to see how in the graphic novel the wove the apprentice into the story and made it make sense.

ON a non SW note, We picked up an advance copy of a book called Johnny Gruesome and SFX. I'm about 1\4 of the way thru it an it is really good so far. The author was there signing copies and giving them away.

Half way done...life is killing me!

You're right about it sometimes feeling like a video game, but all in all I like it!

Finished "Order 66" today. As much as I loved the whole republic commando series, I'm a little disappointed with the final book. I don`t want to get too specific in case anyone is reading it.
Maybe it's Karen Travis' writing style, but more than a few times I wasn't sure what was happening and had to go back and see if I missed something only to find I didn't. Could just be that I'm dumb. =P~

    Not the first, actually.

In 1997, Bantam published a series of 11 childrens horror books called STAR WARS - Galaxy of Fear by John Whitman. Sort of along the lines of the R.L. Stine books from years past.

Lots of large alien bugs and space zombies and such but set in the STAR WARS universe.
