MN Book Meeting-Balance Point

It's time to pick a day to discuss Balance Point. I am still not finished but will be before we meet. The weekend that works best for me is April 7-8. I prefer Sunday the 8th.

Any preferences or conflicts?

 

I prefer Saturday afternoon. But Sunday will probably work for me if its not too early.

 

Umm... I have no idea... ? I'll have to check my work schedule and get back to you.
I loved BP though, so I'd love to attend.

I would like to set a date and time before I leave for Honduras (3/22). It would be nice to be able to post it on the main Fan Force page so newcommers can make plans and join in.

 

The schedule for the weekend of the 7th/8th isn't up at work yet, so either day would work... I'd just need to know by Wednesday so I could ask for it off...

STATUS UPDATE:

I AM free the weekend of April 7th/8th. I echo a preference for Saturday.

I would also like to plan a social event to celebrate Salacious Crummy's birthday (April 11th). One possibility is to go out to dinner following the book club meeting... if Salacious Crummy is available for that. I know he mentioned that he is celebrating with his family on the weekend of the 7th/8th, so he may prefer to celebrate with MF a weekend following his birthday.

What are your thoughts on this, little Kowakian monkey-lizard?

 

Yep, I can make time for going out to dinner afterwards. I mean, I'd have to eat anyways, plus its in celebration of me, so I can definately do it!

Okay, we'll have the book club meeting at a coffee bar and then go to dinner afterwards at TGIF.

Anyone who's not interested in book club, but wants to come to dinner (or vice versa), that's no problem! I think we should plan for dinner either around 5:00 or around 7:00. 6:00 on a Saturday night is hard to get a table!

Dunn Brothers Coffee on University Ave SE and 6th Avenue (half-way between the UofMN and Aveda Institute. Take the 35W 4th Street/University Ave exit. We'll meet at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 7. Actually, clarification of Mara's directions to TGI Fridays. Take Fairview north of highway 36 two stoplights to County Road B2 and take a right. First stop light on B2, take a left into the parking lot of the strip mall (right before audio king). From that stoplight you can see TGIF, but I don't think you can see it from Fairview (bank in between). Hope that clarifies things a little.
