I wasn't sure if ther were any EU books set in this time period, and it might in fact be a good area for books to be written in if they haven't yet. This would help keep people who just walked out of ROTS wanting more, and would help with the huge time gap from Ep 3 to Ep 4. Anyone else's thoughts?

well there are quite a few books set in that timeframe currently, but pretty much all of them are basically background stories about people from the original trilogy (the Han Solo adventures, the Han Solo trilogy, the Lando trilogy)

However, there will be quite a few novels coming out in the next few years that help bridge the time between ROTS and ANH, as well as comics, younger reader books, games, and the two TV series.

Right now, the first book in the young reader line "Last of the Jedi" is out.

one of the upcoming hardcover novels will be one on Darth Vader.

Does anyone know what the book will be about. Or the hardcover one for that matter?

I think the book on Vader is about him hunting down the remaining Jedi.

The HS trilogy follows Han's life from when he's young up till him ending up in the cantina. It's more fo a general build-up to the Classic Trilgoy events and characters. Lando, Boba, Jabba, etc all appear in it.

HS Adventures are more like side stories focusing on Han and Chewie, and are really quite fun reads. they are set during three interludes in the third book of the HS Trilogy.
