He won't work for one of the producers due to a dispute over a previous film they worked together on, so he'll be a no-show in this series unless that producer exits.
Yeah I'm in as well.
They should put Clint Eastwood in it so he can say, "Go ahead, make my day."
Getting a bit excited now.
As soon as this poster comes in at work it is so mine. I'm nergasming over this movie so much.
OMG Chuck Norris
I thought Jet Li was out?
Also, why is Couture in it? He was awful in the first one.
It would be hilarious if Norris is playing one of his established characters like Braddock, McQuade or McCoy.
Holy ****, holy ****!
[hl=silver]Laker games cancelled (so far) due to the current NBA lockout: 22[/hl]
Why does Jet Li look like an asian woman in this poster?
yeah, that poster is incredible. expandables 2: jurassic park 4!
and eeth, i think that is supposed to be yu nans as maggie.
Why does Chuck Norris look like Morgan Grimes in that poster?
Stallone confirmed what Chuck Norris leaked yesterday. Sequel will be PG13.
Actually you should probably blame the American Movie Ratings System? It is very limiting.
It goes from PG-13 to R, without anything in between. I understand that fans would want the sequel to equal the first in violence and language, but if the producers want the film to be available to a wider audience then they have to get the rating down and in America that means a large dive to PG-13.
In Australia the ratings go:
M (most likely will be the rating given to the second film)
MA15+ (this is the rating given to the first Expendables film in Aus)
It was Chuck Norris' fault. He made them remove profanity and stuff before he agreed to be in it.
Chuck Norris didn't make this movie worse: he kicked the rest of movies into betterment.
Similar in the UK, only here it's U, PG, 12a, 15 and 18. Must admit I thought that the first film was an 18. Had it been, I can understand the anger at moving it down to a lower rating. But from a 15 down to a 12a (going by the British system) isn't that big a deal. It'll most likely have all the action and violence, they just won't say any naughty words .
Chuck Norris removed the profanity? But how will the movie be able to convey its maturity without it? Surely The Expendables is not a franchise that thrives on sophomoric appeal.
First one was decent.
Second one could be fun.
Don't forget to add Christopher Lambert to the cast--Give him a sword, even (he will have forgotten how to use it).
How about Jonathan Frakes as a villain?
Maybe for Expendables 3...
I did run a Star Wars RPG called "The Expendables" because of the high PC mortality rate. And some business exec started programming camera drones to follow the PCs around and created a holovid show by claiming it was all scripted with actors, and any similarity between events shown and news footage was purely coincidental.
Stallone has confirmed that Nicholas Cage will be joining the cast for Expendables 3.
