I've been a right grumpy B'stard for a while now - and I've only just worked out why...

I've never found a replacement for Pages Bar!!

It's all fine and well living in Camden with all the trendy pubs around you , but I fancy getting together with some non-work people, people who understand my love of all things 'star warsy.' People who will enthuse over my x-wing transformer, people who will back me up over my quest to one day make my own Bespin Like outfit!!

People like you!!

What do you think guys - shall we take over a boozer order 66 stylee?

Eh?? I only heard pub and drinks. Like edge said, what is a pages bar? By the way, if you hop on a 253 from Camden you can end up in sunny Hackney!

 

As far as i know, pages was a kinda sci fi themed bar. Xwings hung from the celing etc.

Yes pages Bar has unfortunatley closed down...which wasa shame really as it was the only place that I knew where you'd see a robed Jedi and a full on Kling*n drinking at the bar together LOL

And as for Hackney - I work there, so drinking there ain't really my bag - although it does have a lot in comon with Mos Esiley...

And villiany. Hey Templar, if you've got a costume you could put it to good use and help out on the FF stall at Earls Court in july. You could also come and geek it up at one of our trivial pursuit days, there's geeks aplenty there.

In relation to your last post Kiz, at this stage I don?t have a costume ? my other geeky hobby has destroyed my bank balance over the past 18 months! Although never say never as I?m working on making an ESB Luke blaster at the mo (And I?ve seen someone in the states who makes repro leather belt work!)

I?d be well up for some trivial pursuit though! And it would be nice to meet some new faces too!

Jamie it was a bit Trek focused in there but you got all sorts of costumes on a good night! I think we should fins a new spiritual home for it!!
