Boston Crusaders

Howdy, y'all folks. I was wondering if any of you guys know of you local drum corps, the Boston Crusaders? I was looking maybe marching in a few seasons. So, um, yeah. Thanks.

You know, I really hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Otherwise, I'm gonna look pretty stupid, huh?

Hmmmm. How do I describe it? Ummmm... It's like a marching band, but with only valve instuments, precussion, and a colour guard. About November, the corps start have tryouts for places in the corps. During the spiring they practice one weeken a month till June when they all move into one site. For about three weeks they will have nine hours of practice a day. During July and Augest they will tour across the country compeating. Around mid-Augest the have the world championship, and the whole thing starts over.Get it?

My Dad was in the Crusaders many moons ago.

 

My uncle was afraid I'd go off on some damn fool idealistic crusade, like my dad did...
