Bowcaster

I don't know if I seem dumb or not, but what would happen if you got shot by Chewbacca's bowcaster? Would you blow up? You you get stunned? I've never seen or read about what ahappened if you get shot by it.

 

I think you'd just get the same effects as if you were hit by a blaster.

I dunno if you count the EU as canon, but the bowcaster, I believe, can accomadate different types of ammunition including blasterbolts but also "quarrels" which can either explode on impact with a target or ricochet (sp?) of walls to get an enemy who may be behind a corner.

A bowcaster can also fire an energy pocket filled with shrapnel (sp?) shards.

I done a search for this, and didn't find anything. Is Master Replicas ever going to have a reproduction of Chewie's Bowcaster?

And to keep the thread on topic. I think if you were shot at by a bowcaster, it would probably do you in.

Is that referring to KOTOR?

 

If it's Chewie's Bowcaster and Chewie is firing it, you get to draw two destiny. If destiny greater then defense value, the character is 'hit' and must be forfieted after the battle.


You were referring to Chewie's Bowcaster, the weapon card from Decipher's card game, right?

 

Doesnt Chewie blast the ass off a fleeing speeder bike scout with his bowcaster on Endor in ROTJ?

 

11 Damage is refering to his attack card value in the board game "Epic Duels"

 

It's just a version of a blaster really, so I guess the effect is the same.

 

but with a much more explosive result, looking at what happened to the scout trooper. Another scout shot Leia's bike and there was nowhere near the explosion on the bike. Chewie's was more distructive because of the violent nature of his homeworld.
