Coyote Jim's just about finished with his armor- it's sitting in my storage room until Friday.

So, are all you little Jedi going to be bowling in your dresses..er, sorry [face_mischief]...robes? [face_laugh]

Hey, if you do that, at least Kim, myself and Coyote Jim won't be the ONLY ones in garb :D

Hey, last time I checked... worthless generic stormtroopers (when they were referred to as clonetroopers) had to listen to Jedi. NOW GO IN THE KITCHEN AND BAKE ME SOME PIE!

I'm part of the "New Breed" of Imperial Stormtrooper..

We can actually hit our targets with 99.9% accuracy, our armor can actually absorb blaster bolts with the same degree that a ClassIIIA vest can absorb bullet impacts..

...and we're *NOT* clones...we come in all shapes and sizes..matter of fact, some are even of the female persuasion

Sure, young Jedi, I'll be GLAD to make you a pie...[face_devil]

<Random Menace> "It's about time you made me my pie, worthless generic stormtrooper!"

<TK5513> "Why yes, oh great Jedi..it was a pleasure to make this pie, just for you...excuse me, I have to clean the kitchen" (TK5513 bows, turns and walks into the kitchen...)

(Random Menace, using his Jedi powers, notices something amiss...the worthless generic stormtrooper's belt-mounted canister is missing...)

(TK5513 steps out the kitchen door and takes cover as the thermal detonator he planted in the pie goes off, leveling Random's hovel in an explosive flash. As bits and pieces of Jedi robe, porno mags, and body parts land around him, TK5513 snickers evilly)

<TK5513> Worthless generic stormtrooper, eh? Hope you liked the cream filling, ya little twerp!

    :D

Hmm... good thing I have a human replica droid made in my image... had you actually destroyed me, that could have been embarassing.

    By the way...

    Attachment is forbidden.
    Possession is forbidden.
Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is central to a Jedi's life, so you might say we're encouraged to love.

    Porno mags... definitely forbidden! 8-}

(As a side note, the bake me a pie line was a reference to Cartman of South Park, I don't know if you're a fan or not.)

    Cut Mace Windu line:
One Jedi has to be worth a hundred Geonosians.
Hmm... I'm sure one would be worth a hundred troopers too. At least. :D

Sure, I like South Park- been watching it for years. I used to have that 'I'd never let a woman push me around..(the pie line)' and the 'Cartman, you're such a fat...' sound waves back about 1997. Good stuff!

Then again, I used to watch 'Beavis & Butthead' on MTV (before MTV started to suck).

    Just remember something, young Jedi:

    Chicks dig the armor ;)

So...one movie Jedi may very well be worth 100 Geonos...funny talking, fugly-looking inferior alien species...and might be able to whup a number of stormtroopers before he gets beaten like a baby seal

But when it comes to real life...

Chicks dig the armor, baby ;)

I hate tyo interupt this witty dialogue...if I can find any? ;) But there is still a need for ideas on fundraising:

I've jumped into the lead, Eric is right behind me. Cindy got a start (thanks to Rosie) and we need to get Emily and Will kickin' into high gear.

Good news, I just need 1-2 more hits...and the rest of my $ is bonus...which means the $20 from our tickets to the FORCE game can go to either Em or Will...and the money raised from the Amy Allen picture can be split up (depending on how much they get for it) to get you guys up to speed.

Cindy...have you talked with those guys at Manhattan Comics? They owe us a favor (make it a $20 favor)

    Nope... Force operated. :D

    Anyways

Geoff, I'm not sure if you have cash that's not posted on the boards. If you don't, then you're almost right about being ahead... we're tied. I have $80 too. $60 is pledged on the site, but I have an additional $20 in cash.

That's fine...get it turned into B4KS as soon as possible...you remember how right?

Members of your team can send cash to our office. There is a form on each person's website that one can print off for mail-in donations. If member don't use that form, make sure it is noted who the donation is from and for who the pledge is to be credited to. Our address is listed below. Once received, our office will update your totals for you.

Force operated? Hmm... I always thought it was supposed to be a natural occurance... I never needed that sort of help

Anyways, you guys want to do some fundraising? ever thought about working a stand at the CSU Convo Center? they let groups come in, work an event, and the group gets 10% of the total nights profits (one night-the ZZ Top / Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, we pulled in over $5800.00 at our stand; which meant approximately $580.00 went to our group- plus over $200 in tips!). It'll take some time and effort, but the rewards are nice.

Let them know you're a non-profit group, which cause you're raising money for, and they'll hook you up.

I'm feeling a little tingly from reading the last few posts.

I hope that all goes well with the Bowling and fundraising. Do you know if this is just a Cleveland thing? Maybe I should go back and read the whole website and figure out if it's national, because I bowl a mean 93.

Not a problem Kim...just go to the team website and under each person (Emily and Will could use the most help right now) click on their individual page. There you'll find a thing that reads:

If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
Print that and send it in, with your check and mail it right away.

OMG #%&)!@#% I just got a $50 donation out of freakin' nowhere! Thing is, I'm unsure of who the person is. The guy's first name that donated is Michael, so, Beltayn, would it happen to be you? I don't know who donated for sure (I posted on some Star Wars Galaxies boards too, to try and gain some support), but holy Yoda, that made my morning! W00t!

Emily and Will...keep plugging away at it!

OMG I just got another donation! I've reached my goal already and I don't even know who the heck donated lol. The second person's name is Scott, that wouldn't happen to be our Scott (from RoP) would it? Regardless, this is amazing. I've been having such a hard time trying to raise money for this thing, and this has made things sooooo much easier, not to mention helping the local kids out! Thanks, everyone! :D
