San Diego, CA Bowling for Dreams

The 501st has been asked again to participate in this event, I am opening this up to other clubs for participation. This will be our second year, there is nothing like seeing a Stormtrooper bowl.

Details are below.

27 October 2007 - 3rd Annual "Bowling for Dreams" from 12:30 - 5pm at Kearny Mesa Bowl located at 7585 Claremont Mesa Blvd. This event will raise money to pay for Patrick's therapy at Project Walk. In addition to that Patrick will donate half the money to the Dream Factory, a wish granting organization for kids who are sick or injured.

All costumes, canon and non canon, and star wars clubs are welcome to participate.

 

Curious, how much will it cost to bowl? I would definitely like to go to this, but I still have to watch my budget. (I'll still donate if I can't make it)

 

Actually, they let us bowl for free last year since we came in costume for the event.



I really had a good time at this last year, and Patrick is an awesome kid with a great attitude!

This is on my Sean's birthday and we'll be at Legoland that day.

But it sounds like a great event.

 

Pushing the post up again. Its a worth while event that I feel deserves some visibility.
