ok sorry, its just Zahn really to me made the EU and added the prequals, I just think he deserves credit.

 

That's all well and good, but the EU existed for 14 years before Zahn.

And the prequels have been around about as long as Star Wars has, with its roots going back to 1973 or so.

So, I think maybe it might do you some good to learn about the history of SW outside of Zahn, who's actually a relative newbie to both Star Wars and Star Wars EU.
