    Well after the Old Dances, they weren't mandatory anymore. I loved the experience but I had a lot of other things in my life to get done.

    The Tango may not originate from Finland, but it is perhaps the most revered dance in this country. We have sort of adopted it for our own, kind of like in Argentina.

    Ah, I see. :)

    Tango? I'm surprised, but more because I have never thought about which dance is the most popular in a country. Now, when I think about it, I think it is the vienna valse in Germany. At least it is the opening dance of every marriage and the second popular is the foxtrott (and various self-developed kinds of it). You can see lots of people dancing some kind of foxtrott - if there's any "real" dancing at all. ;)
